Linga Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 159

Adhyaya 70: आदिसर्गः—महत्-अहङ्कार-तन्मात्रा-भूतसृष्टिः, ब्रह्माण्डावरणम्, प्रजासर्गः, त्रिमूर्ति-शैवाधिष्ठानम्

स्थावरेषु विपर्यासस् तिर्यग्योनिषु शक्तितः सिद्धात्मानो मनुष्यास्तु ऋषिदेवेषु कृत्स्नशः

sthāvareṣu viparyāsas tiryagyoniṣu śaktitaḥ siddhātmāno manuṣyāstu ṛṣideveṣu kṛtsnaśaḥ

အတည်တံ့သတ္တဝါများ (စထာဝရ) တွင် အသိဉာဏ်သည် ဝိပရျာသ (ပြောင်းပြန်၊ မှောင်မိုက်) ဖြစ်၏; တိရစ္ဆာန်တို့တွင်လည်း ကန့်သတ်ထားသော ရှက္တိအတိုင်းသာ လုပ်ဆောင်၏။ သို့သော် လူတွင် အတ္တမသည် စిద్ధ (ပြည့်စုံ) ဖြစ်နိုင်ပြီး၊ ရှိသီနှင့် ဒေဝတို့တွင်တော့ အပြည့်အဝ ထင်ရှားပေါ်လွင်သည်—ဤသည်မှာ ပတိ (အရှင်) အောက်တွင် ပရှု၏ အသိဉာဏ် ဖွင့်လှစ်မှု အဆင့်ဆင့်ကို ပြသသည်။
