śrīkṛṣṇa uvāca / śṛṇuṣva vacanaṃ satyaṃ sarveṣāṃ saukhyadāyakam / tadahaṃ kathayiṣyāmi śravaṇānāṃ viceṣṭitam

သီရိကృష్ణ မိန့်တော်မူသည်— “အားလုံးအတွက် ချမ်းသာကောင်းကျိုးပေးသော အမှန်တရားစကားကို နားထောင်လော့။ ယခု ငါသည် သာသနာတော်ကို နားထောင်ခြင်း (śravaṇa) ၏ သင့်လျော်သော အကျင့်နှင့် စည်းကမ်းကို ရှင်းလင်းမည်။”
