မြစ်အားလုံး၊ တောင်အားလုံးသည်လည်း တီရ္ထ (tīrtha) အဖြစ် သန့်ရှင်းမြတ်နိုးရာ ဖြစ်၍ ဒေဝတားတို့နှင့် အခြားကောင်းကင်ဘုံသားတို့က ဆည်းကပ်ကြသည်။ သရီရင်္ဂ (Śrīraṅga) သည် ဟရိ (Hari) ၏ ကိုယ်ပိုင်တီရ္ထ ဖြစ်ပြီး တာပီ (Tāpi) သည် မြစ်ကြီးများအနက် အမြတ်ဆုံး ဖြစ်သည်။
