Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
Related Themes: Garuda Purana 1.170 (diet/meda-kṣaya and sthūlya-kṛśa guidance)
This verse shows that the Garuda Purana also preserves practical dharmic living through dietetic rules, linking food choices and digestion to bodily balance.
Indirectly: by teaching bodily discipline and moderation, it supports a sattvic, regulated life that is traditionally considered supportive of spiritual practice.
Prefer simple grains like barley/millet and use warm, light liquids to support digestion; apply with medical discretion, especially for metabolic conditions.
