तस्यां सर्वेषु लिङ्गेषु तिथौ स्वपिति शङ्करः वसते संनिधाने तु तत्र पूजाक्षया स्मृता

tasyāṃ sarveṣu liṅgeṣu tithau svapiti śaṅkaraḥ vasate saṃnidhāne tu tatra pūjākṣayā smṛtā

Pada tithi itu, dalam semua liṅga, Śaṅkara dikatakan “tidur”, yakni bersemayam dalam keadaan yang khusus. Dalam kedekatan/hadirnya Baginda di sana, pemujaan dikenang sebagai tidak binasa, menghasilkan pahala yang tidak habis-habis.
