Brahmavidya Upanishad 35: Verse 35

तिलेषु च यथा तैलं पुष्पे गन्ध इवाश्रितः । पुरुषस्य शरीरेऽस्मिन् स बाह्याभ्यन्तरे तथा ॥३५॥

तिलेषु च यथा तैलम् पुष्पे गन्धः इव आश्रितः । पुरुषस्य शरीरे अस्मिन् सः बाह्य-अभ्यन्तरे तथा ।

tileṣu ca yathā tailaṃ puṣpe gandha ivāśritaḥ | puruṣasya śarīre 'smin sa bāhyābhyantare tathā ||35||

Seperti minyak berada dalam biji bijan, dan seperti harum bernaung dalam bunga; demikianlah dalam tubuh insan ini, Itulah (Ātman) hadir juga di luar dan di dalam.

As oil (is) in sesame seeds, and as fragrance is lodged in a flower, so in this body of the person, That (Self) is likewise (present) outwardly and inwardly.
