Amritbindu

एक एवात्मा मन्तव्यो जाग्रत्स्वप्नसुषुप्तिषु । स्थानत्रयव्यतीतस्य पुनर्जन्म न विद्यते ॥११॥

एकः एव आत्मा मन्तव्यः । जाग्रत्-स्वप्न-सुषुप्तिषु । स्थान-त्रय-व्यतीतस्य । पुनः-जन्म न विद्यते ॥११॥

eka evātmā mantavyo jāgrat-svapna-suṣuptiṣu | sthāna-traya-vyatītasya punar-janma na vidyate ||11||

Hanya Ātman yang satu patut direnungkan dalam keadaan jaga, mimpi, dan tidur lena. Bagi yang melampaui tiga keadaan itu, tiada lagi kelahiran semula.

The Self alone is to be contemplated in the waking, dream, and deep-sleep (states). For one who has gone beyond the three states, there is no rebirth.
