अगस्त्य उवाच । अयोध्यानिलयं विष्णुं नत्वा शीतांशुरुत्सुकः । आगच्छत्तीर्थमाहात्म्यं साक्षात्कर्तुं सुधानिधिः । अत्रागत्य च चन्द्रोऽथ तीर्थयात्रां चकार सः
agastya uvāca | ayodhyānilayaṃ viṣṇuṃ natvā śītāṃśurutsukaḥ | āgacchattīrthamāhātmyaṃ sākṣātkartuṃ sudhānidhiḥ | atrāgatya ca candro'tha tīrthayātrāṃ cakāra saḥ
Agastya berkata: Dengan hasrat untuk menyaksikan kemuliaan tempat-tempat suci, Sang Bulan—khazanah amṛta—datang setelah bersujud kepada Viṣṇu yang bersemayam di Ayodhyā. Setibanya di sini, Candra pun memulai ziarah ke tīrtha-tīrtha.
