tataḥ prādurabhūttatra sahasraphaṇamaṇḍitaḥ | śeṣaścakṣuḥśravāḥ śreṣṭhaḥ kṣitiṃ bhittvā sahasradhā | suralokātsurendro'pi samāgādamaraiḥ saha
Kemudian di sana tampaklah Śeṣa, dihiasi lingkaran seribu tudung, yang utama, masyhur sebagai “mata dan telinga” (melihat dan mendengar segala). Dengan membelah bumi menjadi seribu belahan, baginda muncul. Dari alam dewa, Indra sang raja para dewa pun datang bersama para amara.
