प्रहरेन्न च विप्राय हत्वा शत्रून्न शेषयेत् । क्रोधं कुर्यान्न चाकस्मान्मृदुः स्यान्नापकारिषु
praharenna ca viprāya hatvā śatrūnna śeṣayet | krodhaṃ kuryānna cākasmānmṛduḥ syānnāpakāriṣu
Janganlah memukul seorang brāhmaṇa; dan setelah menewaskan musuh, jangan biarkan mereka berbaki untuk bangkit semula. Jangan marah tanpa sebab, namun jangan pula lembut terhadap orang yang melakukan kejahatan.
