एवं शप्त्वा तदा विप्रावन्यस्मै गां प्रदाय तौ । क्षुधितौ खेदसंयुक्तौ स्वगृहं गन्तुमुद्यतौ
evaṃ śaptvā tadā viprāvanyasmai gāṃ pradāya tau | kṣudhitau khedasaṃyuktau svagṛhaṃ gantumudyatau
Setelah demikian mereka melafazkan sumpahan, dua orang brāhmaṇa itu lalu menyerahkan lembu itu kepada penerima yang lain. Dalam lapar dan keletihan, mereka pun bersiap berangkat pulang ke rumah sendiri.
