प्रहस्य गौरी प्रोवाच शंकरं त्वतिसुंदरी । हारितं च पणं देहि मम चाद्यैव शंकर
prahasya gaurī provāca śaṃkaraṃ tvatisuṃdarī | hāritaṃ ca paṇaṃ dehi mama cādyaiva śaṃkara
Sambil tersenyum, Gaurī yang teramat jelita berkata kepada Śaṅkara: “Serahkan kepadaku taruhan yang telah engkau kalah—pada hari ini juga, wahai Śaṅkara.”
