एवंविधं तं प्रसमीक्ष्य कालं संचिंत्यमानं मनसाऽचलेन । शैवं पदं यत्परमार्थरूपं कैवल्यसायुज्यकरं स्वरूपतः
evaṃvidhaṃ taṃ prasamīkṣya kālaṃ saṃciṃtyamānaṃ manasā'calena | śaivaṃ padaṃ yatparamārtharūpaṃ kaivalyasāyujyakaraṃ svarūpataḥ
Melihat Kāla dalam keadaan demikian, sedang merenung dengan fikiran yang teguh, (baginda) menumpukan renungan pada Kedudukan Tertinggi Śaiva—yang hakikatnya ialah kebenaran tertinggi, dan oleh sifatnya sendiri menganugerahkan penyatuan yang membawa kepada kaivalya, pembebasan mutlak.
