Type: kshetra
Listener: Dharmarāja
Scene: A didactic tableau: Skanda explains karmic causality; in the background, symbolic visions of Indra and the Lokapālas seated at the quarters, illustrating earned stations; foreground shows a serene mind motif (lotus, clear sky).
Clarity of mind and spiritual rank arise from accumulated past conduct; destiny is portrayed as the maturation of previous karma.
No specific site is named; it undergirds the Kedāra tīrtha narrative by explaining how prior merit leads beings toward purity and sacred attainment.
None; the verse is a doctrinal explanation using Indra and the Lokapālas as exemplars of karma’s fruition.
