Ketika itu, Pārvatī bersama Śambhu dan juga Kumāra dihormati oleh para dewa dengan upacara nīrājana, iaitu melambai cahaya yang membawa berkat. Sang Satī yang mulia pun tampak bersinar gemilang.
Narrator (contextually Sūta/Lomaharṣaṇa addressing sages in Māheśvarakhaṇḍa)
Tirtha: Kedāra
Type: kshetra
Scene: Devas perform nīrājana before Pārvatī seated with Śiva and child Kumāra; multiple lamps create concentric halos; the trio shines as the focal axis amid incense and flower garlands.
Divinity is approached through auspicious worship—honoring Śiva, Devī, and Skanda together affirms wholeness of dharma and grace.
The verse occurs in the Kedārakhaṇḍa, aligning the worshipful atmosphere with Kedāra’s Śaiva sacred geography.
Nīrājana (ārati)—the auspicious waving of lights as an act of reverential honoring.
