Type: kshetra
Listener: null
Scene: Madhusūdana delivers a forceful rebuke: a radiant, awe-inspiring Rudra is envisioned superimposed upon the yajña-fire itself—Rudra as the living sacrifice—while Dakṣa is shown turning him away, symbolically placing a barrier at the altar’s edge.
Śiva (Rudra/Sadāśiva) is integral to sacred rite; excluding him from worship corrupts the ritual’s dharmic foundation.
No single tīrtha is named in this verse; it teaches a principle within the Kedārakhaṇḍa setting.
A prohibition by implication: do not exclude Rudra/Sadāśiva from yajña; recognize him as yajñarūpa.
