Type: kshetra
Scene: Sages seated in ordered rows, some chanting Ṛg verses, some reciting Yajus formulas, others singing Sāman melodically; the air filled with visible ‘maṅgala’ motifs—lotuses, light, and calm radiance around Śiva’s presence.
Vedic sound (mantra) and truthful sages together generate maṅgala—spiritual auspiciousness that sanctifies place, act, and participant.
The Kedārakhaṇḍa frame points to Kedāra’s sacred landscape, where Vedic recitation heightens the site’s mahatmya.
Recitation of diverse sūktas connected with Ṛg, Yajus, and Sāman, as part of producing maṅgala (auspicious benedictions).
