Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 8

यया कृतिमिदं सर्वं गुणत्रयविभावितम् । एतच्चराचरं विश्वं नश्वरं परमार्थतः

yayā kṛtimidaṃ sarvaṃ guṇatrayavibhāvitam | etaccarācaraṃ viśvaṃ naśvaraṃ paramārthataḥ

Oleh-Nya (Śakti), seluruh ciptaan yang termanifestasi ini digerakkan oleh tiga guṇa. Namun seluruh alam semesta yang bergerak dan tidak bergerak ini, menurut kebenaran tertinggi, adalah fana dan akan lenyap.
