हे बटो पंडितो भूत्वा यदुक्तं वचनं पुरा । शिशुत्वात्तन्न जानासि श्रुत्वा मन्ये यथार्थतः
he baṭo paṃḍito bhūtvā yaduktaṃ vacanaṃ purā | śiśutvāttanna jānāsi śrutvā manye yathārthataḥ
“Wahai anak! Walau engkau telah menjadi pandita, engkau hanya mengulang kata-kata yang dahulu diucapkan; namun kerana masih kanak-kanak, engkau belum benar-benar memahaminya—setelah mendengarmu, aku mengerti demikian sebagai makna yang sebenar.”
