एकदा तु सभामध्ये आस्थितो भृगुणा सह । दैत्येंद्रैः संवृतः श्रीमाञ्छंडामर्कौ वचोऽब्रवीत्

ekadā tu sabhāmadhye āsthito bhṛguṇā saha | daityeṃdraiḥ saṃvṛtaḥ śrīmāñchaṃḍāmarkau vaco'bravīt

Pada suatu ketika, di tengah balairung, baginda duduk bersama Bhṛgu; yang mulia lagi berseri itu, dikelilingi para pemimpin daitya, lalu bertitah kepada Chaṇḍa dan Amarka.
