Transliteration

ityevamukto deveṃdro jaghāna gadayā bhṛśam | vṛtraṃ balavatāṃ śreṣṭhaṃ jānudeśe mahābalam

Translation

Demikian ditegur, Devendra (Indra) pun menghentam dengan gada dengan sangat keras, mengenai Vṛtra—yang terbaik di antara yang perkasa—pada bahagian lutut, walaupun ia berkuasa besar.
