सुगंधदीपैश्च सुवाससा युतोऽलंकारभोगैः सुविराजितांगः । बभौ तदानीं नहुषो मुनीद्रैः संस्तूयमानो हि तथाऽमरेंद्रैः
sugaṃdhadīpaiśca suvāsasā yuto'laṃkārabhogaiḥ suvirājitāṃgaḥ | babhau tadānīṃ nahuṣo munīdraiḥ saṃstūyamāno hi tathā'mareṃdraiḥ
Dihiasi dengan pelita harum dan busana indah, anggota tubuhnya berseri oleh perhiasan serta kenikmatan, Nahuṣa pun bersinar pada saat itu—dipuja dan dipuji oleh para resi agung, demikian juga oleh raja-raja para dewa yang abadi.
