देवान्ददाति साक्रोशं दैत्यांस्तूष्णीमथाददात् । मनुष्यान्मध्यपातेन प्रत्यहं स ग्रहान्द्विजः
devāndadāti sākrośaṃ daityāṃstūṣṇīmathādadāt | manuṣyānmadhyapātena pratyahaṃ sa grahāndvijaḥ
“Dia memberikan kepada para Deva dengan seruan yang lantang, tetapi kepada para Daitya dia memberinya dalam diam. Kepada manusia pula, dia membahagi dengan ‘bahagian pertengahan’; demikianlah setiap hari, brahmana yang dua kali lahir itu mengagihkan bahagian-bahagian.”
