शिवस्य महिमा सर्वः श्रुतस्तव मुखोद्गतः । अथ युद्धस्य वृत्तान्तः कथ्यतां परमार्थतः
śivasya mahimā sarvaḥ śrutastava mukhodgataḥ | atha yuddhasya vṛttāntaḥ kathyatāṃ paramārthataḥ
“Kami telah mendengar seluruh kemuliaan Śiva yang keluar dari mulutmu. Kini, mohon ceritakan peristiwa peperangan itu menurut kebenaran dan makna yang sebenar.”
