Sūta (narrator); Hanumān is the next speaker
Tirtha: Naimiṣāraṇya (frame)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Śaunaka and the sages
Scene: Sūta as narrator describes a courtly moment: the king with hands joined above his head; the son of Vāyu smiles/laughs with mild sarcasm before speaking.
Even sincere devotion is followed by testing and instruction; humility becomes the ground for deeper guidance.
The exchange occurs within the same tīrtha/kṣetra narrative of Kaumārikākhaṇḍa, tying the dialogue to the sanctity of the place.
The posture of reverence (añjali with bowed/raised hands) accompanies stotra and prayer, modeling proper devotional conduct.
