Jika benar Engkau penyayang kepada semua yang menderita, jika sesungguhnya Engkau penuh belas kasihan, maka kasihanilah aku: kurniakanlah kepadaku mata. Salam hormatku kepada-Mu.
A Pāṇḍava devotee
Scene: A tearful devotee pleads before the compassionate Devī; her hand extends in varada-mudrā, and a cool, soothing light settles over the devotee’s eyes, suggesting healing and mercy.
The devotee appeals to the Goddess’s universal compassion as the basis for personal grace and healing.
No tīrtha is specified in the verse.
None; it is direct supplication (prārthanā) for mercy and sight.
