न त्वं कृतः केवलसंश्रुतश्च यजुष्येवं व्याहरत्यादिदेव । चतुर्विधा भारती दूरदूरं धृष्टः स्तौमि स्वार्थकामः क्षमैतत्
na tvaṃ kṛtaḥ kevalasaṃśrutaśca yajuṣyevaṃ vyāharatyādideva | caturvidhā bhāratī dūradūraṃ dhṛṣṭaḥ staumi svārthakāmaḥ kṣamaitat
Wahai Dewa Purba, Engkau bukan sesuatu yang dicipta, dan bukan pula sekadar sesuatu yang didengar—namun Yajus Veda menyebut-Mu demikian. Bharati yang empat rupa hanya menjangkau dari jauh; namun aku dengan berani memuji-Mu kerana keperluanku sendiri—ampunilah hal ini.
