Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 60

पंचतन्मात्रसहितः समनोबुद्ध्यहंकृतिः । पुण्यपापमयैः पाशैर्बद्धो जीवस्त्यजे द्वपुः

paṃcatanmātrasahitaḥ samanobuddhyahaṃkṛtiḥ | puṇyapāpamayaiḥ pāśairbaddho jīvastyaje dvapuḥ

Bersama lima unsur halus (tanmātra), serta minda, intelek dan rasa-aku, jīva—terikat oleh jerat yang terbentuk daripada pahala dan dosa—meninggalkan jasad.
