विचिक्षिपुर्महात्मानो नभोगतमिवामिषम् । तत्रा हं करमुद्यम्य प्रावोचं पूर्यतां द्विजाः

vicikṣipurmahātmāno nabhogatamivāmiṣam | tatrā haṃ karamudyamya prāvocaṃ pūryatāṃ dvijāḥ

Para mahatma itu melontarkan hujah seperti daging yang dicampak ke langit. Lalu aku mengangkat tangan dan berkata, “Biarlah hal ini diputuskan, wahai para dwija (dua-kali lahir)!”
