यथैवैधः समुत्थेन वह्निना नाशमृच्छति । तथाऽकृतात्मा लोबेन स्वोत्पन्नेन विनश्यति
yathaivaidhaḥ samutthena vahninā nāśamṛcchati | tathā'kṛtātmā lobena svotpannena vinaśyati
Seperti kayu api binasa oleh api yang bangkit daripada kayu itu sendiri, demikianlah orang yang tidak terdidik jiwanya dibinasakan oleh lobha (ketamakan) yang timbul dari dalam diri.
