Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 36

एकस्मिंस्तोलयेच्छिक्ये ज्ञातं सूपोषितं नरम् । द्वितीये मृत्तिकां शुभ्रां गौरां तु तुलयेद्बुधः

ekasmiṃstolayecchikye jñātaṃ sūpoṣitaṃ naram | dvitīye mṛttikāṃ śubhrāṃ gaurāṃ tu tulayedbudhaḥ

Pada satu piring neraca, hendaklah ditimbang lelaki yang diketahui dan dipelihara dengan baik; pada piring kedua, orang bijaksana hendaklah menimbang tanah liat yang bersih, cerah, putih pucat.
