इदं सत्यं वदामीति ब्रुवन्साक्षी भवान्यतः । शुभाशुभफलं देहि शुचिः पादौ रवेः स्वृशेत्
idaṃ satyaṃ vadāmīti bruvansākṣī bhavānyataḥ | śubhāśubhaphalaṃ dehi śuciḥ pādau raveḥ svṛśet
Sambil berkata, “Aku menyatakan kebenaran ini,” hendaklah seseorang menjadi saksi dengan Yang Ilahi sebagai saksi. Dalam keadaan suci, sentuhlah kaki Dewa Surya (Āditya) dan berdoa: “Kurniakanlah kepadaku hasil—baik atau buruk—menurut kebenaran ucapanku.”
