इति ते वै समुद्देशः कीर्तितः किंचिदेव च । शेषः स्मृतिपुराणेभ्यस्त्वया श्रोतव्य एव च
iti te vai samuddeśaḥ kīrtitaḥ kiṃcideva ca | śeṣaḥ smṛtipurāṇebhyastvayā śrotavya eva ca
Demikianlah, kepadamu telah dinyatakan suatu garis besar yang ringkas. Selebihnya, sesungguhnya hendaklah engkau dengarkan daripada Smṛti dan Purāṇa.
