मातः स्वसरथो पुत्रि आर्येति च वदेद्बुधः । उचछिष्टो नालभेत्किंचिन्न च सूर्यं विलोकयेत्
mātaḥ svasaratho putri āryeti ca vadedbudhaḥ | ucachiṣṭo nālabhetkiṃcinna ca sūryaṃ vilokayet
Orang bijaksana hendaklah menyapa (kaum wanita) dengan hormat: “Ibu”, “Saudari”, “Anak perempuan”, atau “Wahai wanita mulia”. Ketika masih dalam keadaan selepas makan (berbaki sisa dan belum suci), jangan menyentuh apa-apa, dan jangan memandang matahari.
