Lomaharṣaṇa (Sūta) to the sages
Scene: A Śaiva devotee offers food and water to pilgrims and animals near a shrine; gentle hands release grains for birds; a subtle aura indicates ‘Śiva-citta’ while prosperity (coins/harvest) is shown as ethically won and shared.
Śiva-centered living is expressed through compassion toward beings and responsible, non-miserly use of wealth.
No specific tīrtha is named; the verse teaches a universal Shaiva ethic.
No single rite is prescribed; it recommends ahiṃsā and generosity as integral to dharmic practice.
