Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 112

नृत्यं गीतं च वाद्यं च अलीकमपि यश्चरेत् । तस्य तुष्येदनंतंहि गीतवाद्यफलं यतः

nṛtyaṃ gītaṃ ca vādyaṃ ca alīkamapi yaścaret | tasya tuṣyedanaṃtaṃhi gītavādyaphalaṃ yataḥ

Walaupun seseorang menari, menyanyi dan memainkan alat muzik dengan tidak sempurna, Ananta tetap berkenan kepadanya; kerana daripada nyanyian dan muzik yang dipersembahkan dengan bhakti itulah lahir buah pahalanya.
