Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 6

शुक्लवित्तेन यो धर्मं प्रकुर्याच्छ्रद्धयान्वितः । तीर्थं पात्रं समासाद्य देवत्वे तत्समश्नुते

śuklavittena yo dharmaṃ prakuryācchraddhayānvitaḥ | tīrthaṃ pātraṃ samāsādya devatve tatsamaśnute

Sesiapa yang menunaikan dharma dengan harta yang suci, disertai śraddhā (iman), lalu mempersembahkannya di tīrtha (tempat suci) kepada penerima yang layak—dia menikmati buahnya sebagai martabat ketuhanan.
