ततः परं क्रौञ्चसंज्ञं द्विगुणं हि घृताब्धिना । ततः शाल्मलिद्वीपं च द्विगुणं तावतैव च
tataḥ paraṃ krauñcasaṃjñaṃ dviguṇaṃ hi ghṛtābdhinā | tataḥ śālmalidvīpaṃ ca dviguṇaṃ tāvataiva ca
Selepas itu ialah benua bernama Krauñca, ukurannya dua kali ganda, dan dilingkari lautan ghee (ghṛta). Sesudahnya datang pula Śālmalidvīpa, juga dua kali lebih besar, dengan cara yang sama.
