Śiva (as Kumāreśvara, in the Kumārikākhaṇḍa narrative)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Devotee audience (unspecified)
Scene: A devotee bows before the liṅga, then offers a donation—grain, cloth, or coins—into the hands of temple attendants for pilgrims’ service; a subtle aura around the sanctum suggests the ‘hundredfold’ unseen fruit, while the donor’s household prospers in the background vignette.
Humble devotion combined with proportionate charity near Śiva becomes immensely fruitful and benefits both worldly and otherworldly well-being.
The Kumāreśvara Liṅga shrine/kṣetra described in the Kaumārikākhaṇḍa.
Bowing (praṇāma) and giving dāna according to one’s means in the immediate presence of the Śiva-liṅga.
