कुशोदकाद्गंधजलं तस्मात्तीर्थोदकं वरम् । तीर्थेभ्यश्च जलं दर्शे महीसागरसंभवम्
kuśodakādgaṃdhajalaṃ tasmāttīrthodakaṃ varam | tīrthebhyaśca jalaṃ darśe mahīsāgarasaṃbhavam
Air kuśa itu baik, namun air berwangi lebih baik; lebih utama daripadanya ialah air dari tīrtha (tempat suci). Dan lebih utama lagi daripada air tīrtha biasa ialah air yang menampakkan diri pada hari bulan baharu, lahir daripada bumi dan lautan.
