देवानां च महामोदं तारकः प्राह सारथिम् । सारथे पश्य सैन्यानि द्राव्यमाणानि मे सुरैः
devānāṃ ca mahāmodaṃ tārakaḥ prāha sārathim | sārathe paśya sainyāni drāvyamāṇāni me suraiḥ
Melihat kegembiraan besar para dewa, Tāraka berkata kepada sais keretanya: “Wahai sais, lihatlah—pasukanku sedang dihalau mundur oleh para dewa!”
