पश्यमानः प्रफुल्लाक्षो वह्निः कामवशं गतः । स भूयश्चिंतयामास न न्याय्यं क्षुभितोऽस्मि यत्

Transliteration

paśyamānaḥ praphullākṣo vahniḥ kāmavaśaṃ gataḥ | sa bhūyaściṃtayāmāsa na nyāyyaṃ kṣubhito'smi yat

Translation

Tatkala memandang dengan mata yang terbuka kerana terpikat, Agni pun jatuh di bawah kuasa nafsu. Lalu baginda berfikir berulang-ulang: “Tidak wajar aku menjadi begitu tergoncang.”
