स्कंदप्रसादजः पुत्रो लोहिताक्षो भयंकरः । एष वीराष्टकः प्रोक्तः स्कंदमातृगणोऽद्भुतः
skaṃdaprasādajaḥ putro lohitākṣo bhayaṃkaraḥ | eṣa vīrāṣṭakaḥ proktaḥ skaṃdamātṛgaṇo'dbhutaḥ
Daripada rahmat Skanda lahirlah seorang putera—Lohitākṣa, menggerunkan rupanya. Inilah yang dinyatakan sebagai ‘kelompok lapan wira’, iaitu rombongan Mātr̥gaṇa Skanda yang menakjubkan.
