Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 172
तत्रापि तादृशो जज्ञे नैगमेय इति श्रुतः । ततो विनद्य स्कंदाद्याश्चत्वारस्तं तदाभ्ययुः
tatrāpi tādṛśo jajñe naigameya iti śrutaḥ | tato vinadya skaṃdādyāścatvārastaṃ tadābhyayuḥ
Di situ juga lahir seorang yang serupa, yang menurut tradisi dikenal sebagai Naigameya. Kemudian, sambil mengaum lantang, Skanda dan tiga yang lain segera menyerbu ke arahnya serentak.
