Lomaharṣaṇa (Sūta), narrating to the sages
Scene: The mountain-king speaks sorrowfully of his son Maināka hidden in the ocean; Viṣṇu, serene and compassionate, turns toward him to console.
Anxiety over dharma is natural, and divine wisdom responds with reassurance and solution.
The ocean (arṇava) is mentioned as Maināka’s abode, expanding the sacred geography linked to the wedding narrative.
No new prescription; the concern is about ensuring required wedding rites are properly completed.
