शोचनीयतमा पूर्वमासीत्पार्वति कौमुदी । त्वं संवृत्ता द्वितीयासि तस्यास्तत्संगमाशया
śocanīyatamā pūrvamāsītpārvati kaumudī | tvaṃ saṃvṛttā dvitīyāsi tasyāstatsaṃgamāśayā
Wahai Pārvatī, dahulu Kaumudī paling menyedihkan; kini engkau menjadi yang kedua—kerana berharap dapat bersatu dengannya.
