Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 46
अवजा नासि विप्रांस्त्वं तच्छीघ्रं व्रज दर्शनात् । यदि वा मन्यसे पूज्यांस्ततोऽभ्युद्धर नान्यथा
avajā nāsi viprāṃstvaṃ tacchīghraṃ vraja darśanāt | yadi vā manyase pūjyāṃstato'bhyuddhara nānyathā
“Jika engkau tidak menghina para brāhmaṇa, maka segeralah pergi dari pandangan kami. Atau jika engkau benar-benar menganggap mereka layak dipuja, maka selamatkanlah (aku) segera—tiada pilihan lain.”
