Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 58

त्वं युक्तिः सर्वभूतानां त्वं गतिः सर्वदेहिनाम् । रतिस्त्वं रतिचित्तानां प्रीतिस्त्वं हृद्यदर्शिनाम्

tvaṃ yuktiḥ sarvabhūtānāṃ tvaṃ gatiḥ sarvadehinām | ratistvaṃ raticittānāṃ prītistvaṃ hṛdyadarśinām

Engkaulah kebijaksanaan yang menimbang bagi semua makhluk, dan Engkaulah tujuan serta tempat berlindung bagi semua yang berjasad. Engkaulah rati—kenikmatan—bagi hati yang mencari kenikmatan, dan Engkaulah prīti—kegembiraan kasih—bagi mereka yang memandang apa yang dicintai.
