महिषं प्राह मत्तस्त्वं वधं नार्हसि दानव । योषिद्वध्यः पुरोक्तस्त्वं साक्षात्कमलयोनिना
mahiṣaṃ prāha mattastvaṃ vadhaṃ nārhasi dānava | yoṣidvadhyaḥ puroktastvaṃ sākṣātkamalayoninā
Kepada Mahiṣa, Hari berkata: “Wahai Dānava, engkau tidak layak mati di tanganku. Dahulu engkau telah dinyatakan akan dibunuh oleh seorang wanita—oleh Brahmā yang lahir dari teratai sendiri.”
