तार्क्ष्य उवाच । न मे श्रमोऽस्ति लोकेश किंचित्संस्मरतश्च मे । यन्मे सुतान्वाहनत्वे कल्पयामास तारकः
tārkṣya uvāca | na me śramo'sti lokeśa kiṃcitsaṃsmarataśca me | yanme sutānvāhanatve kalpayāmāsa tārakaḥ
Tārkṣya berkata: “Wahai Tuhan sekalian alam, tiada sedikit pun keletihan padaku; lebih-lebih lagi apabila aku mengingati bagaimana Tāraka dahulu memaksa anak-anakku menjadi tunggangan (binatang beban).”
